Allison Mansion Wedding
When baby Kyrie came into my studio for his newborn session I had immediate hair envy! Look at that baby boy's hair! Mom and Dad were the cutest, and I loved the story about how Kyrie came into this world- three whole weeks early!
I was so fortunate to be a part of this beautiful downtown Indianapolis wedding at the state house. This couple was just the sweetest. Any time hints of the couple's favorite things or personality are injected into a wedding is fun, and this bride and groom did that in the greatest way.
Heritage Farm Events Wedding
I have been working with Tuyen and Krevon since they found out they were having their first baby. We did a maternity session, a fresh 48 session, newborn session, and the first birthday. I absolutely adore working with this family! They are Chicago clients, but oh so worth the trip!
I was a second shooter on this wedding with another fantastic photographer. Heritage Farm Events is one of the most gorgeous places I've ever photographed a bride and groom. The natural beauty was perfect not just for the wedding but also for capturing landscape shots.
Oh this little one year old filled up my studio with her laughter during her cake smash session. I could not get enough of her chunky baby thighs, and her little baby wrists! And that smile! We had a great session with Skylar. Before we brought out the cake I let Skylar play with her wooden letters that we used in the background set up for her cake smash. This girl was the perfect one year old model. She sat and smiled and only tried to crawl away to escape once or twice! Mom said she's not walking yet but she gets around really well by walking on her knees. She has a baby walker, but she likes to imitate a pirate and walk with one stiff leg she refuses to bend. Mom and Dad think this is endlessly funny, and Skylar just laughs along too.
Working with Julie's Flowers of Geist, LLC
There is nothing quite like a Fresh 48 session. Those first couple of days in the hospital with your newborn may go by in a complete haze of exhilaration and exhaustion, but with a Fresh 48 newborn session you can capture that raw emotion and treasure it always.
Snow White Inspired Bridal
One of my business goals for the new year was that before wedding season picked up, I would work with more people in my field! That way when it comes time to photograph a wedding day, I am fully prepared and know the best way to capture some very important details from some pretty cool people.... the ones that do their craft for a living.
Winter Wedding at Laurel Hall
This Snow White inspired bridal session was an absolute blast to photograph. I have to say this lovely lady was amazing in this lace wedding gown and gold jewelry! This Ohio venue was the perfect space to beat the chilly outside weather and get some absolutely amazing portraits, and play around with details! I mean check out this bouquet <3
I love working with couples at every time in the year. I was so excited when I was able to take part in a winter wedding and even more giddy that their was a possibility of snow! We started out inside at Laurel Hall and I have to say this venue has it all! From the perfect indoor space to take intimate portraits...
Moving my studio from Chicago to Indianapolis, as most of you know, was very sudden and unexpected. My husband, Joe, was about to retire from the military and we were presented with an opportunity to move closer to his kiddos, Charlie and Rhianna. Every other weekend they had been making a 4 hour drive to come up to be with us and it was just unrealistic to expect that much from the kids. So, we decided to list the house and see what happened.
